Draft privacy policy for Saber CPA & Advisory's QuickBooks Online workpaper preparation app.
Draft notice: this privacy policy is operational draft language and should be reviewed by Saber CPA & Advisory's legal counsel before external reliance or broad production use.
Information accessed
When authorized, Saber QBO Workpaper Prep may access QuickBooks Online company identifiers and accounting report data such as balance sheet, profit and loss, trial balance, and general ledger report information.
How information is used
Information is used to prepare workpaper files, validate report periods and accounting basis, support professional review, and assist Saber CPA & Advisory in providing tax, accounting, and advisory services.
Credentials
The app uses Intuit OAuth. QuickBooks usernames and passwords are entered with Intuit and are not collected by Saber QBO Workpaper Prep.
Storage
Generated reports, tokens, and workpapers are stored only in Saber-controlled systems or approved local environments used for the engagement. Access is limited to authorized personnel.
Sharing
Saber CPA & Advisory does not sell QuickBooks data. Information may be shared with authorized personnel, service providers, or regulators only as needed for professional services, security, support, compliance, or legal obligations.
Disconnection and deletion
Users may disconnect QuickBooks access through Intuit or request assistance from Saber. Saber will remove active connection records under its control and handle retained workpapers according to applicable engagement, retention, and legal requirements.
